PROGRESS UPDATE

Slowly but surely we are making progress in this transition from Tanimoto Gallery & Framing to our new business Tanimoto Dharma Designs. Since we are no longer framing we have downsized and are currently working out of our gallery/studio. It took 2 months to clean and clear out of our workshop space where we did all our custom framing, but it's finally completed. We accumulated a lot of things in 25 years. It's time to move on! Whats going on at Tanimoto Gallery & Framing?

After 25 years we are shutting the doors of our art gallery, custom framing, and photo restoration business. In a few months we will be re-opening the doors to our new business, Tanimoto Dharma Designs, hence the name of this blog. We have also changed the name on our Facebook site, as many of  you have noticed. I'm glad you have stayed with me during this transition, and appreciate you following my posts. This blog allows me to speak more freely, and to an audience of like-minded individuals who wish to be inspired, motivated, and enlightened. 

Although I gain inspiration and insight from all sources, I have found a certain comfort, a sanctuary so to speak,  in the teachings of Buddhist philosophers. To me, the word dharma means universal law, truth, reality, and righteousness. There are various other meanings, but this is how I wish to interpret it for my purpose, a reflection of all things good, positive, and right. 

Please feel free to comment on any of my posts. I enjoy being able to connect with others through positive discussion and the sharing of ideas and artwork, from the philosophical to the spiritual. It is my hope that this blog will become a source of inspiration and enlightenment. Thank you for your interest and support. More to come!
